Position: Perl Developer & Lead

Experience:3-10 Yrs

Location : Remote (India)

Mandatory Skills:PERL, PostgreSQL, DevOps (GitHub, Jenkins)

Preferred Skills:C Programming, Oracle, Linux OS, GCP, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient Perl-based applications. * Lead the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and improvements. * Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best coding practices. * Integrate and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and scalability. * Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins. * Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance in Linux environments. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers within the team. * Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and deployment protocols. * Participate in regular code reviews and agile development processes.

Primary Skills:

* Strong programming experience in Perl. * Proficiency with PostgreSQL (database design, optimization, and scripting). * Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as GitHub and Jenkins for version control and CI/CD. * Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills: * Knowledge of C Programming for performance-critical modules. * Experience working with Oracle databases. * Good understanding of Linux OS for deployment and debugging. * Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for cloud-based deployment and services. * Familiarity with IDEs like Eclipse or Visual Studio Code.

Soft Skills:

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Excellent communication and team collaboration skills. * Ability to lead and manage a distributed remote team. * Proactive, self-driven, and detail-oriented approach.
